Kodak was purchased by Hardhat Angus at the Rennylea 2016 Spring Bull Sale. He was selected due to his structural soundness and athletic movement. His extreme skeletal length and neck extension made him very appealing as a maternal sire. He has now proven himself as a breed leader for calving ease. We see him as the number one heifer joining sire in Australia. Not to mention top 1% of the angus breed for IMF and scrotal.

Hardhat RES Michelin J536 M56 was used heavily at Hardhat Angus as a yearling before being sold as a two year old. His pedigree repeats one of the great Angus combinations, N Bar Emulation EXT and RR Rito 707.
M56 is a genuine B muscle score bull and rates in the top 1% of the breed for EMA. This carcase is loaded into a moderate structurally correct package. His dam Hardhat EXT Annie Y21 J536 is by the maternal king of the Angus Breed N Bar Emulation EXT. EXT is a prepotent sire resulting from a brother sister mating. He gives more maternal function and longevity to his daughters than any other Angus sire. The maternal grand dam of M56 is Kansas Annie Y21, we rate Y21 as one of the best angus cows in Australia.
M56 is sired by SAV Resource who we first inspected as a two year old in 2014. Resource is a genuine muscle machine and gives this to his progeny.
M56 is our representative in Angus Sire Benchmarking Program Cohort 8. We have M56 calves on the ground now and are excited to watch their development.

Hardhat H708 Maimuru J51 M41 is a long growthy bull who ranks in the top 1% of the breed for IMF and GRN and top 3% for ABI. M41 is a son of one of the breeds proven elite marbling sires Rennylea H708. The maternal strength of M41 has allowed him to maintain an eye appealing phenotype. The dam of M41 is Hardhat Mittagong J51 who traces back to TeMania Mittagong V254. The Mittagong line is renowned for their longevity and angus breed character. M41 is a complete sire.

Grass King is from the best flush we have ever produced. Sinclair Grass Master and Kansas Annie Y21 combined to produce some of the best animals the Hardhat herd has seen.
Grass King is a full brother to Grass Range J518 who was purchased by Myanga Angus. The full sisters from this flush have placed our herd in great position for future breeding options.
Grass King has great presence in the paddock, as his photo suggests his muscle, depth of rib and balance makes him an eye appealing sire.

XXP has an intensely linebred docile son of N Bar Emulation EXT. Brad worked with XXP during his time at Sinclair Cattle Company in the US. XXP has unprecedented body length. His dam is one of the greatest angus cows the breed has seen, N Bar Primrose Y3051 has produced many great sons and will have a long-term on the Hardhat herd.
XXP recently sired the world record priced bull SAV Elation 7899 who sold for US$ 800,000 at the 2018 SAV Bull Sale.

Sinclair Grass Master has arguably been the most consistent sire used in the Hardhat herd. He is the second son the great N Bar Primrose Y3051 cow that we have used. Grass Master consistently sires good types with near nil cull rates in his progeny. His sons are deep bodied, moderate framed, heavily muscled and very sound. His daughters have become some of our best dams, very broody productive cows with again near no drop outs. This low cull rate is extremely important at a time where many heavily used sires lack prepotency and predictability.

Net Worth is a time tested sire for visible muscle mass and functional perfectly uddered daughters.
We sourced his semen to try to replicate some his great daughters. He can be used as sire to correct phenotype and moderate from while not sacrificing performance.
